I believe this ties back to my strength; I believe patience and compliment are the most important things in tutoring. These students take a lot of time to improve on what they struggle. First, I need to be patient with their progress. Second, I acknowledge their improvements by giving them compliments. Patience.
I am also a springboard and…
Understanding the fundamentals of a concept rather than getting the answer. I am good at communicating and making people feel comfortable. Students who are comfortable tend to ask more questions; leading to better understanding of a…
Knowing their weakness and helping them particularly based on their weakness to get improve. 1. My personality. I'm an outgoing person, easy to talk with.
2. My experiences. I have experienced teaching whether 20 students or just a small group with 3-4 students, but I can notice how they perform during the class and sometimes if they need help I…
I place a very high emphasis on providing and appreciating value in the learning experience. To me, that is more important than supporting a student to gain good raw scores or marks (although that may be a side-result of the first objective).
Having a good time, creating a lifelong passion for learning - all these things are more valuable than…
- Truly personalize the learning
- Incorporate connections to the student's interests
- Be patient and flexible
- Have a fresh perspective
- Explain difficult things in a simple way I always try to connect with students and their frustration to find out the best way to approach the tutoring. I have a lot of patience and can explain anything…
I think the most important quality to bring to tuition is a sense of drive to motivate students. Often High school students are unaware of the importance or usefulness of academics and I believe it is important to also educate them on why it is important to achieve good grades. High academic achievement can give a student a plethora of pathways in…
I may have just graduated high school but I truly believe that a tutor that is young and not an experienced teacher will be beneficial for the student. As a student, I experienced first hand how most teachers get a student lost in terminology or over-complicated explanations. As a tutor, I will work hard to break down math, chemistry and physics…
Connecting with each individual student and being passionate about their development is definitely the most important thing in my opinion. As without this enthusiasm the student will not be instilled with the belief that they can excel in their subjects and become demotivated. Furthermore, having excellent communication is of upmost importance, it…
Encourage a growth mindset, be patient with the student and communicate effectively. A lot of students fall into negative thinking believing they just aren't good at certain subjects and they never will be. Talking them through obstacles, positively reinforcing them and promoting a growth mindset while they develop confidence and skills within a…
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to listen to them carefully and attentively showing all engagement towards the student. This allows the tutor to understand what is difficult and what is easier for the student and at the same time displays to the student that the tutor cares and wants to better the student's life. I am…
A tutor can give his time for the student and make him understand until he understands it completely

The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is assist them to a point where they understand the content and can expand their knowledge without the help of a tutor, so that in examination environments they can use the knowledge and assistance a tutor provided them to understand the task and apply their knowledge to achieve their set goal.…
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is being able to be creative and innovative in teaching so that they will learn in the most effective way. A tutor should also go extra mile in teaching, doing more than what the student needs. Lastly, a tutor should be a good friend to the student. I believe that I possess the combination of…
I think the most important responsibility of a mathematics tutor or teacher in general is to help build the student's skills and confidence in their ability to tackle new, challenging problems by nudging them to think critically and helping them understand the value of practice and hard-work. I am able to simplify challenging concepts in a…
The most important thing for a tutor to do to a student is to be able to connect with them on a level that allows them to understand the content. Not being able to form a connection with the student makes the learning process tough. It is important to find an approach that enables the student to succeed. As a tutor, I am able to connect with the…
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to be a good listener and understand what is student’s first priority.
As an OP 1 receiver, based on my past experience, breaking down assignment criteria to meet the requirements and interpreting the concept clearly can significantly improve the student’s grade.
I can teach…
The most important things a tutor can do for a student is helping them fully understand the problems as well as the solutions. The tutor should help students understand the importance of each step in the solution instead of helping them seeking the final answer. I have experiences in teaching and tutoring different groups of students including…
The most important thing that tutors should and can do for a student is to assess their current level, create a goal and guide them towards that level. It depends on individual student's needs, while mindset and thinking style are the keys. Therefore, in terms of student's interest and personality, the fundamental expertise and the developments of logical or critical thinking are what I really want to do. Guiding and well-organized.

We had been looking for a Maths tutor for my son for the HSC for some time with very limited success. Companies would indicate they were able to supply a tutor but when push came to shove there was either no one available or the booked tutor never showed up. In desperation I spoke to a friend who I knew had a tutor for her son. She recommended Ezy Math and indicated she was extremely happy with her son's tutor Faraz. Ezy Math were easy to get on to and able to find me a tutor for my son almost straight away. I was really pleased to be advised that the tutor was Faraz whom I had already heard good things about. Faraz contacted me and we were able to organise a suitable time. Faraz has done a fantastic job keeping my son motivated and on track. The point of the sessions for us was guided revision and to consolidate the learning that was happening in the classroom. Faraz was calm and patient and able to keep my son focussed. My son has indicated he felt the sessions were extremely useful, and really helped him to pull together what he needed for the exams. Feedback reports sent monthly let me know that Faraz felt things were on track and where improvement was needed. Invoicing and payment was easy and no fuss via the website. All in all I have been really pleased with Ezy Math and so has my son.
Lucy is wonderful. Dominique is participating well in the sessions and covering areas I feel she requires assistance in.
Things are going well. Chris is doing a very good job. Since the tutoring sessions, my daughter seems to be more positive and has stated that Chris is explaining the work well, which makes it easier to understand. I am confident that this was the right decision and can't wait to see the results.
