The most important thing is trust that both tutor and student should have on each other. An ease of asking questions and making mistakes is another very important thing. Its okay to make mistakes but if your student is afraid of you , they would never ask questions and will be afraid to make mistakes so the tutor will never be able to…

A tutor can provide little tips and tricks to answering questions, especially in Math. Always be within reach, in terms of communication platforms, so that the student can clarify any doubts at any point in time. A tutor should also be flexible to the timings of the students yet not compromising on other students schedule. I am patient, clear…

I believe the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is pose as their mentor than just a teacher. By doing this, a student will feel safe, and empowered; this in turn will make them learn better. Moreover, it is important for a tutor to build their confidence. It is essential to build on the weak areas of a student. Additionally, a…

I consider that a tutor should be a good teacher but also a good person. He should be able to communicate and transmit his passion to give the desire to learn. The goal of tutoring should be to empower students and thus the primary focus of tuition should be to develop confidence and independence rather than reliance. For this reason, I believe the most important component of tutoring is not working through content, but reflecting and future planning to ensure the student believes they have the skills…

According to me the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to instil confidence and positive mindset in a student which can empower the student to take on challenges. Developing a love for learning also goes a long way, as a tutor teaches a subject which he likes he can encourage curiosity and passion for the subject in his students…

Students need to realize that learning is not only limited in the classroom. Lecturing and tutoring not only help the students to understand the knowledge and achieve the academic purpose, but also guide them to construct the way of thinking. I think the most important thing a tutor can do is to get a proper understanding of the level of mathematical 'maturity' of a specific student, rather than just assuming a certain background knowledge. Once this is established, it's possible to get the core of what exactly a student is struggling with (usually a particular fundamental concept) and…

Become students’ friends so you can lead the children to the book, most students don’t want study because the teacher is too strict and always pushing them, if the tutor can become their friends, they can lead the student to study voluntary. I believe firstly, students should not be pressured to do any task instead a tutor should make the task joyful and interesting for the student in such a way that they enjoy they are doing in every aspect. Secondly, I think creating a safe environment for kids so that they can easily come to us regarding any query in their studies should be…

In my opinion, being a person that students are comfortable with to reach out for help is one of the most important things. A tutor should be there to assist them, not add stress or pressure to them. I also think it is important for tutors to motivate the students to learn, instead of just giving answers, and in motivating them, tutors should be…

To reassure them that having a tutor and needing a bit of extra help is nothing to be ashamed of. Moreover than learning the tasks, helping them feel they're capable of more than they think they are. Ezy math tutoring I recommend to anyone looking to get their child or teen help with their maths. My daughter who is 9 was having a lot of trouble understanding maths. Her tutor Mohammad was fantastic got her understanding in a very short time in a way where I was not able to. She is now doing a lot better at maths at school and has made obvious improvements. Thankyou soo much

Inside AuldanaTutoring Sessions

Content Covered

Year 8 student Alyssia explored titrations in chemistry, including using the n = CV formula and adjusting equations for different scenarios.

Year 10 Sam focused on coordinate geometry, graphing points in all four quadrants and determining if given points lie on specific lines by plotting them.

Meanwhile, a Year 11 student worked through polynomial skills—identifying leading coefficients and degrees of polynomials as well as equating coefficients to solve related questions.

Recent Challenges

A Year 8 student relied heavily on reviewing previous answers when approaching new algebra questions—"she prefers to look at what she's already done rather than try and push herself"—which made it harder for her to adapt to unfamiliar problems.

In Year 10 Chemistry, a student hesitated to attempt the written discussion portion of an assignment, avoiding open-ended tasks until guided step-by-step.

Meanwhile, a Year 12 student sometimes lost focus during sessions and struggled to set clear priorities for revision; this led to scattered attention and missed opportunities for deeper test preparation.

The lack of independent practice in challenging scenarios left gaps unaddressed before assessments.

Recent Achievements

One Auldana tutor noticed a big shift in Alyssia's independence with titration equations—after struggling to manage mixed molar ratios, she finished several of these questions on her own by the end of their session.

Alessandro, a high school student, arrived prepared with specific questions and guided his own learning; he now pinpoints what he needs help with instead of waiting for prompts.

In Year 7 maths, Lucy moved from relying on examples to working through new statistics problems herself after being shown once, and even chose to try similar questions without asking for hints.

Local Spots for Tutoring

If you'd prefer not to have lessons at home, tutoring can also take place at a local library—such as Campbelltown Public Library—or at your child's school (with permission), like Magill School.
