I think the most important think a tutor can do for a student is be understanding of and correct mistakes without causing the student to feel burnt out or overwhelmed. I am able to call on my experience to identifying common mistakes when tutoring. I am also very patient and allow room for the student to practice as much as…
If a tutor can maintain a professional friendship with a student while focusing on the learning or task at hand, then the student is much more likely to share the enthusiasm with the tutor. I am enthusiastic about learning and communicating my knowledge with others. I am patient and able to adapt to different learning styles. Furthermore, I…
Make them interested in the content. The students won't want to learn unless they care about the content and while grades are good motivators, pure enjoyment and interest in a subject make it easier to learn. I can teach a varied range of subjects but can quickly adjust to each individual students needs. I try to find an approach that the student…
Offer any potential students my utmost support and patience, dedication and
devotion into clarifying their understanding of their task sheets, verbalising and
brainstorming ideas, drafting and associated feedback, etc. My passion for English is undeniable, and I hope to share the full extent of my knowledge with my students.
Additionally,…
A tutor must give a student confidence and help them to not be overwhelmed by new topics. Once a student believes they can learn something, it is much easier to actually learn it. Tutors must also be personal and understand what method of teaching is most effective for each individual. As a recently graduated student, I am able to understand how…
I believe it is integral to grasp the individual students learning style and tailor my lessons accordingly. As a part of this, it's also important to learn what doesn't work for them, and avoid these techniques. For example, an English teacher might teach them poetic terms by getting the student to write out definitions. If a students doesn't…
Having been a student myself, the greatest feeling when coming away from my tutor was a feeling of relief and greater understanding. I believe the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is simply make them feel more confident in approaching and applying concepts to questions. I believe my strengths as a tutor would be my ability to…

- A tutor needs to listen to a student about what they do and don't understand. Everyone is different.
- A tutor needs to equip the student to problem solve and nut things out on their own. The tutor won't be there to help in the exam!
- A tutor needs to encourage the student to learn.
- Develop clear goals and study plans.
- Understand what…
A tutor plays a crucial role in a student's learning journey, and there are several important things a tutor can do to effectively support their students:
Every student is unique. A good tutor takes the time to understand the student's learning style, strengths, weaknesses, and goals. This understanding helps tailor the tutoring sessions to meet…

Helping them complete their work is part of the job. However, the most important thing is making sure students are relaxed. If they are getting overwhelmed they shouldn't be pushed because then it'll make them feel like they can't do it. So tackling their weaknesses at a realistic pace will help them not feel pressured to understand straight away.…
The most important thing a tutor can do is help their students develop study skills so that they are equipped to learn anything by themselves. I am very patient and I always try to explain difficult concepts in ways that I found easier to understand when I was learning them (eg. acronyms and visual…

I just wanted to thank you Ezymath for helping my son to understand the curriculum of year 10 math. My son found his teacher would repeat the same thing over and by having an ezymath tutor he was able to hear it explained in a different way and as often as needed for him to understand it. He came 2nd in his class and passed with confidence. I also found our tutor to be reliable, responsible and patient and I will be calling again when my daughter needs help with her math, which will probably be earlier than year 10. Thank you again for supplying a tutor so quickly.
Working for EzyMath tutoring gave me a sense of strong responsibility and a feeling of accomplishment. I felt as though I had not only taken up a teaching role, but a mentoring role as well. The staff are there to help if you need it as well as a strong community of colleagues to access for support. I would recommend EzyMath tutoring to any clients and fellow tutors.
