I consider the most important thing as a physics tutor is to teach your students to ask more questions, more often and trying to answer those questions themselves as if they are the teacher because by doing this they actually get used to thinking about various problems in a better way and come up with well thought questions and a better…

Building confidence in a student is the most important thing for a physics tutor. In another way, a student can realise his or her capacity to solve a problem and be confident in it despite failing several times. Working with kids helps me to understand and communicate effectively throughout a lesson, which are key elements in tutoring.…

A tutor must have the passion to share their knowledge and expertise through teaching, and be able to commit long-term to any student. I can help students overcome challenges, build confidence, and reach their academic goals. I'm flexible; I develop different learning plans and methods that cater to each student, allowing me to efficiently cover…

As I recently graduated I can understand the pressure that is being faced every day so I would make sure that the student studies a topic with a cool mind rather than studying in a panic mood. I would like them to study everything in a smart way rather studying everything in a hard way. I also believe while studying the student should know what is…

For me the most important things a physics tutor can do for a student is to teach them what is needed and by teaching a little but teaching it well and prepares them to the real life situation. I think my strenghts as a tutor is my passion as a teacher/ tutor. The knowledge about the subject matter and the experiences i have. For more than seven…

The most important thing a tutor can do for their student is to help them how to become a good person before being a successful one. Then Treat every student according to their needs and requirements because every student's learning capability is different. some of them get the topic in one way while a few of them may need extra efforts to learn…

Inside Melton SouthTutoring Sessions

Content Covered

Year 7 student Zoe focused on simplifying fractions and decimals as well as multiplication and division skills through targeted quiz questions.

In Year 8, Ray revised all times tables for fluency and practiced using BODMAS to solve numerical expressions with multiple operations.

Meanwhile, Year 10 student Sienna worked through interpreting displacement/time and velocity/time graphs, applying F = ma, and solving equations of motion for constant acceleration in her Physics lessons.

Recent Challenges

A Year 10 student struggled to stay engaged with maths when word problems arose, saying, "I feel lost and unsure" if the question didn't use just numbers. This meant he'd leave sections blank, even when he knew the calculation steps.

In Year 7 algebra, a reluctance to write out each working step led to confusion and missed errors; as one tutor noted, "he calculated in his head but couldn't show how he got there."

A senior student faced difficulty checking factors without relying on synthetic division—she grew frustrated as trial-and-error took over, slowing her progress through polynomial tasks.

Recent Achievements

One Melton South tutor noticed Jordan, a Year 10 student, making up lost ground in maths after COVID disruptions—he's now picking up new concepts faster and working through problems more independently.

In another session, Colin (Year 7) shifted from struggling to organise his ideas to confidently brainstorming creative writing topics without prompting.

Meanwhile, Aaylah in Year 3 has started reading longer passages aloud with fewer skipped words; where she once lost focus easily, she now manages double-digit addition on the whiteboard with little guidance and even answered comprehension questions after reading a passage.

What they say about our tutoring

quote

It was a pleasure working with such a lovely organization. Not only do they listen but they try and solve the child learning difficulties. There tutors are great and also support the child. My daughters mark improved and so did her love for Math's. Would recommend Ezy Math Tutoring to all.

Just a quick email to thank you to Ezy Math and especially Daniel. Natalya received her report card yesterday and passed maths which hasn't happened since the end of year 4. Her teacher has said that continued practice is neccesary for her to continue to pass as she tends to forget the maths concepts when not applying them regularly. Don, I and her teacher have seen an incredible increase in her confidence in Maths as she is no longer afraid to put her hand up and answer a question. Daniel is such a fantastic tutor for Natalya and she responds very well to his approach to tutoring.

Good afternoon. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for sending Justin as Arin's tutor. He has been wonderful and has helped Arin greatly to achieve a better result as well as boosting his confidence. Thank you so much to your friendly team and of course to Justin.

Physics tutoring in Melton South

Physics is one of those subjects that easily sparks interest. Students learn about natural laws, how tiny specks behave and how gargantuan planets orbit light-years away.

Because of its many applications science has become one of the most exciting fields of the future. From theory to application, there's a lot to wrap your head around. As you move up the curriculum the content does become highly technical.

It's easy to get lost in the details, and when you need to cram all of the concepts for a test it can easily become overwhelming. That's where a great tutor can help.
