The tutor's ability to adapt to a student's learning style is crucial.
Not every student can be taught in the same manner.
Regularly evaluating a student's learning patterns, whether through visual, verbal or written methods is very important in identifying the most effect strategy to cater for the student's needs. During class time, students…

Help them understand and not let them feel helpless. A lot of kids feel helpless when learning and it's extremely important for tutors to let them know that they aren't and teach them other ways to learn that are more helpful for them. My strengths are most definitely adapting to any situation and my patience. I understand that people may struggle…
I think my opinion about teaching is for different kids should have different method. For example, when you teach an introverted but smart kid you can’t just tell him what to do, you have to give him more courage and gain his trust, because the kid is wise enough and you just need to lead the right not to tell him how to do.
Second. It is being…

To believe in the students ability to take what they've learnt in the session out into practice and to take part in individual study to further improve their skills as a student, particularly going into more serious years of high school. Helping each student be the best learner that they can be; independent learning is something that all successful students must be able to do. My philosophy is that if you want something, you can achieve it, as long as you dedicate the time and effort into it, and I will make sure that my students have this same mindset. I aim to make studying and…
For me, the two things that aided me most when I was being tutored in highschool were practice questions given to me by tutors and when these tutors took their time to really deconstruct these concepts until I fully understood them. My biggest strength is patience. Sometimes it takes students a long time to begin to understand certain concepts and…
1. Understanding the student's struggles

3. Encouragment and Motivation
4. Unlocking a student's full potential One of my strong traits is patience. I find ways to help a student understand a topic and consolidate on their previous knowledge. In a one to one interaction,…

I believe the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to build a rapport of the student so that each lesson will be created based on the needs and requirements of the student and on what they need to focus on, i.e their weak points. I think my strength as a tutor is that I am able to build a good rapport for all of my students and be…
The most important things a tutor can do for a student having the ability to take pressure off the students. Having only graduated from school last year, going to tutoring for the subjects I had trouble in, took some of the pressures of Year 12 off of my shoulders as I had the reassurance that I could go to my tutors with concepts I had trouble…
Aim to gain understanding so that what the student is learning now, will stay with them throughout their life, no matter where they might find themselves and in whichever work position they find themselves in the future. I relate well to all levels, and I can explain at all levels, given my experience in work industries, as well as in…
I believe the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is the ability for the student to develop a independent style of learning and facing adversities with a strategy in mind. This allows the student to not only develop academically but also fosters a lifestyle of learning that will help them transition into high education. I am clear,…
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to teach them in its most effective and efficient way possible. Because we tutors are responsible in making a hard lesson an easy one for the students. I really love math as a subject and I think that's my strength as a math…
I believe the most important things a tutor can do for their students is to support them in their way of learning while also offering alternative study methods that may help them to better understand a concept. The first thing would be to establish a plan of goals and expectations and help the student identify their role in this plan. Once a tutor has an idea of the expectation of the parents/school/ students then only can progress take shape, and this might have many forms and variations as to how this is executed as the student grows or stalls. So,…
I believe being understanding of their needs and patience are the most important qualities. I think I am friendly and engaging which I believe is essential in fostering a…
To me, the two most important things a tutor can do for a student are:

2. Helping a student refine and better understand what they were taught in class. I think I have a strong…
1. Being patient with a student until they have confidently understood and topic and can answer questions about it.
2. Changing your method of explanation depending on how the student learns ideas.
3. Being able to always be contacted, so the tutor can answer emergency questions, or reschedule an appointment. 1. Good communication skills…
Laura has definitely gotten Diana to a great start. She eagerly anticipates her tutoring and is seeming to take more interest in Maths especially in the strands that she did not feel very confident about.
Diana has told me that Laura's explanations are easily understood and is simplified which makes it easy to remember. She also explains various strategies that can be used for problem solving which is good for time management when attempting to solve problems in class. Diana is able to use the notes taken during tutoring in class which is assisting with her understanding of the relevant strand or concept.
Things are going really well. Emily is a lovely young woman who has engaged well with my daughter. Tia feels comfortable with her and is learning new skills. It is great.
Thanks once again for such wonderful service and professionalism. It is such a change to receive follow up and genuine interest in the service provided . Your company is to be commended!!
We asked for assistance on a short term basis to help with some exam preparation. Our tutor was quickly able to assess our daughter's capability and provide practical assistance with problem solving and techniques.
Most importantly the tutor instilled real confidence in our daughter's ability, offering encouragement, support and reinforcement all the way. We would not hesitate to contact Ezy Math for our future needs.
