EZYMATH is amazing! It's the best thing that ever happened to my daughter. My daughter had struggled with maths since primary school. When she went to high school I knew she needed help so I looked for a tutor. I started with EZYMATH and we had 3 amazing tutors for 6 years!! The best thing about EZYMATH is that they find a tutor most suited to your child and who lives close to your home so the tutor comes to you. Another advantage is there is no money exchange between you and the tutor- EZYMATH invoice you and the tutor sends a report about your child's progress with the invoice. My daughter has passed all maths at high school and even won an academic award in year 10 because she got a distinction for maths! We love EZYMATH and highly recommend this tutoring organization to ANYINE!

Inside MundamiaTutoring Sessions

Content Covered

Year 8 student Charlie focused on solving two-step equations and practiced basic algebraic skills such as factorising.

In Year 10, Mia worked through graphing linear equations and revisited trigonometry concepts by tackling angle problems using diagrams.

For a senior student, Ethan in Year 12 revised the ambiguous case of the Sine Rule and applied practical trigonometry to find unknown heights in real-world scenarios.

Recent Challenges

In Year 8, a student's formatting made multi-step linear equation solutions difficult to follow—he sometimes wrote steps out of order, making it tricky to check for errors. This led to confusion during revision and slowed progress on harder rearrangements.

For a Year 11 student in Advanced Maths, working through HSC finance questions, over-reliance on formula sheets was evident; when asked to justify answers, she hesitated without having memorized key relationships.

In Year 12, missing or incomplete homework on network diagrams meant practice opportunities were lost before exam week. Each scenario left the student less prepared when faced with unfamiliar exam formats.

Recent Achievements

One Mundamia tutor noted Andrea's shift from passive to active learning: after reviewing her exam, she identified exactly where her approach went wrong and then explained alternative strategies herself—something she'd previously hesitated to do.

In another high school session, Laaibah moved from relying on hints for network problems to answering several spanning tree and critical path questions completely independently. Meanwhile, a younger student recently began showing their working out when simplifying ratios, after weeks of skipping steps or leaving answers blank; this time, they completed each part without prompting and checked their own calculations.

Thank you for allowing me to be a maths tutor at Ezy Math Tutoring, it was an incredibly beneficial experience for me. 11th November 2011

Working with Ezy Math Tutoring has given me the opportunity to excel students skills and capability in mathematics. The biggest accomplishment as a tutor is seeing a student's face light up when the solve a problem. It makes me proud to see that students have responded well to my teaching methods and that they attain a sense of satisfaction from learning. I came to ezy maths tutoring to meet new people and gain further experience working with eager students. Ezy maths tutoring has taught me patience, understanding and to sincerely enjoy teaching and learning. I would recommend Ezy maths tutoring to individuals who are eager and determined to develop a more thorough understanding of mathematics and develop an appreciation of the subject and the tutors hard work. 18th July 2012
