What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I love most about tutoring are the moments when my students grasp a difficult concept. It's rewarding to see them gain understanding and confidence. I also enjoy sharing my passion for subjects, as I think students learn the best when the teacher truly has an interest in the subject.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I've tutored kids with learning disabilities, so I'm very patient. I understand that there are several ways to teach and learn a concept, and although perseverance is very important, oftentimes the student is not as passionate about the subject as I am, therefore it wouldn't be fair to expect the same level of patience from them.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think a passionate, and understanding tutor is very important. I myself had a difficult time learning maths in high school, but when I was taught maths in university, by passionate lecturers, I was able to pick up concepts a lot faster. I also know that a lot of times students are very tired after school during tutoring lessons, and pushing them hard might not be the best approach. I found that if you cover too much content too quickly, you usually have to go over the topic again as they are unable to retain the information.
