What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
Satisfying my appetite for learning and acquiring knowledge from the learners is the most important thing that I enjoy about tutoring. Apart from this, I feel like I would be able to apply all the aspects of my theoretical knowledge (that I have been acquiring from my degree) into practical application through engaging in tutoring, which would help me develop as a teacher as well as learner.
Therefore, as a pre-service teacher, there is nothing I love more than tutoring because it helps me to expand my repertoire of knowledge and experience.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
My strength as a tutor is developing relationship with students, which is the most critical element of any learning process and without which, a real learning cannot take place. I have a friendly personality (easier to get along with students), and what I have found to be my biggest attribute in influencing the learning of my students over the last 2 years.
Most important things I can do for a student π
I believe the most important things I can do for my students is to add an extra bit of knowledge (however much small it is) into their already existing set of knowledge that will take them one step closer towards making progress and understanding a world more better. Apart from this, helping my learners become better problem-solvers through resilience and determination, rather than giving up hope in the face of complexities is the best attitude I can instill in my learners.
