What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy seeing the faces of children light up when they finally understand a mathematical concept, and helping them to think of different ways to solve a problem that they may not have thought of before.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I have an excellent knowledge of mathematics meaning that I am more than adequate to impart my knowledge onto my students. I also am very patient and understanding on how difficulty in mathematics can cause stress to children, and so I know how to calm them down and congratulate them on even the smallest signs of improvement.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important things that a tutor can do for a student is show them various different problem-solving methods for a given problem so that they can choose which one they are most comfortable whilst also keeping the other methods in their back pocket in case they may want to use them. Additionally, tutors need to be able to connect with their students on a personal level as students feel more comfortable learning from someone they feel cares about them rather than someone who they think is just teaching them for the money.Tutoring students in 👦 👧
