What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy having the satisfaction of knowing that my communication skills and teaching method has resulted in someone else understanding a concept. In my experience of going to tutoring, I also enjoyed forming a fun relationship with my tutors, which made the learning process more fun and helped me to trust my teachers more.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe I am quite empathetic to the struggles of students in digesting information, which I think paired with my patience would make me a suitable tutor. Furthermore, I have always been quite creative in the ways I studied, which I could pass onto other students which they could potentially benefit from.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Tutoring provides a support system for students in their learning at school, and hence a tutor first and foremost must be reliable. Whether that be tailoring teaching methods and materials to make it more digestible or guiding students through practice questions, a tutor should be able to gain the trust of their students so that students may be able to trust themselves to do better academically.
