What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
As the friend whom my peers seek assistance from, I have found that tutoring is a very enriching experience. I remember My Year 7 maths teacher encouraging us to help each other because by helping each other understand, you are also consolidating your knowledge and understanding. It was only in my senior years that I understood that the process of tutoring is very rewarding, for it is uplifting to both the tutor and the person being tutored.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am someone who is patient, empathetic and has a genuine drive to make academic studies fun and motivating. With a particular strength in maths, I have a sound understanding of mathematical concepts, to which I can utilise various methods to explain the same concept and show different ways to solve the same question. Additionally, as a visual learner myself, I like to approach questions with a sketch or a diagram on the side. I would think that the most important thing a tutor can do is to help broaden a student\'s way of thinking. Since tutoring is an addition to classroom and textbook teaching, tutors provide an alternative method or approach to the same question.
