What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The thing I enjoy most about tutoring is when I see the students faces light up when they finally understand the concept.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think my greatest strength as a tutor is my patience. I will happily go over concepts multiple times and take my time to ensure the student has an understanding of what I am teaching them.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Patience is really important for students. Providing positive feedback, reassurance and encouragement, even if they don't quite understand yet. And finally being approachable and willing to explain something multiple times until they understand.

- Sienna did well seeing how to do questions once I explained them to her. - For the questions she needed help with, she already had a good idea of how to do them, but just made some minor calculation errors
- Re-reading the questions a few times to make sure she understands them correctly. - If there is 2 equations and 2 unknowns, do simultaneous equations. - double checking her own calculations
- Lily did well multiplying and dividing expressions and remembering when to cancel/simplify
- Lily did well multiplying and dividing expressions and remembering when to cancel/simplify
- When expanding brackets, she just needs to remembering to simplify like-terms at the end. - Also the order that we need to expand the expression and making sure the signs are correct
- Sienna did well solving linear equations and using the quadratic formula. - Sienna also did well recognising how to do the question once I gave her a head start

- Double checking calculations, i.e not missing negatives, squaring correctly. - Re-writing out the points at the beginning of the question to avoid confusion.
- Lily did well simplifying algebraic expressions and recognising like terms and when we can add or subtract them.
- Lily did well simplifying algebraic expressions and recognising like terms and when we can add or subtract them.
- When simplifying an expression she needs to look at the signs in front of the term, whether its a positive or a negative and it then subtract or add accordingly. - Also remembering that a x a = a^2 and not 2a.
