What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy the most about tutoring is being able to make connections with the students I tutor, and to be able to contribute towards their personal educational development. I find this aspect of tutoring to be very fulfilling, especially when I see my students succeed in their quizzes/tests/assignments, and would like to relive this fulfilment through this opportunity.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a tutor, I believe that my strengths include having the ability to observe and determine the strengths and struggles of different students - this is especially key for me to understand my students on a greater level, and to determine which tutoring methods to use to tutor them. I also believe that my patience is a key strength. I am slow to annoyance when the students I tutor struggle with understanding my tutoring, and will instead continue to encourage them and use other tutoring methods to help them understand key subjects.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
What I consider to be the most important things a tutor can do for a student is to build a relationship with them. Listening to a student, assessing what areas they struggle with most, and celebrating the accomplishments they have made in their studies (whether big or small), is key in strengthening the student's trust in the tutor. In turn, this helps the student communicate better with the tutor, which can greatly facilitate their learning.
