I enjoy linking the subject to new discoveries that are slightly out of syllabus. I find that helping students realise what they are learning is part of a bigger picture motivates them to acquire solid foundational skills.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am able to come up with analogies to help students understand new concepts. For example, to help one of my previous students understand how a chemical reaction works, I used the analogy of mixing paints to get different colours. This allows the student to think through a question to arrive at an answer instead of just memorising a formula and applying it blindly.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do is to equip the student with the skills to find answers and explore the subject on their own.
