What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy linking the subject to new discoveries that are slightly out of syllabus. I find that helping students realise what they are learning is part of a bigger picture motivates them to acquire solid foundational skills.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am able to come up with analogies to help students understand new concepts. For example, to help one of my previous students understand how a chemical reaction works, I used the analogy of mixing paints to get different colours. This allows the student to think through a question to arrive at an answer instead of just memorising a formula and applying it blindly.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do is to equip the student with the skills to find answers and explore the subject on their own. Whenever my students ask me questions outside of the syllabus, I involve them in the process of looking up papers and interpreting scientific language.

He is doing okay for now; it would be good if he could think of the movement of electrons as the basis of chemical reactions/molecules but it would become easier over time.
