What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
While I have never done official tutoring, as a surf life saving bronze medallion instructor I often enjoy moments when a student finally understands the concept and can apply it to new situations.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths include breaking down complex concepts into small easier ideas that can then be built upon by students, as well as engaging the students so that they aim to understand to apply in real life situations, not just learn to pass a test.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
For me, the most important thing a tutor can do is instead of providing answers, guide students to find the answers themselves so that they learn and engage with the subject. A tutor should also be a kind, sympathetic face, they are not a teacher delivering content to a wide range of students and so should attempt to tailor the experience best they can to each individual student.Subjects Tutored 🎓
