What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I love the process of teaching and I find it quite rewarding to observe the progress that is made. It also allows me to further my skills in communication and to craft a connection between the student, making them feel comfortable to ask any questions they might have.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe I am easy to talk to and I will always make clear that it's important to ask questions when you don't understand something. I also like using analogies in explaining harder concepts as well as practice examples with the students, encouraging their participation along the way until they are comfortable to attempt questions alone.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think helping students understand how to approach a question and learning how to discipline themselves is the most important. Constantly reminding them to complete their homework so we can go over their mistakes next time is also important in establishing a routine and will hopefully give them an incentive to do the same with school.
