What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
It's very fulfilling to see a student understand a concept after struggling with it for a while. It is like the last piece of a puzzle falls into place in front of your eyes and it is incredibly rewarding to be part of that process. I think that assisting learners in achieving their goals, one does more than just help them increase their confidence in the subject. As an educator, this also strengthens your own sense of fulfillment and helps you grow professionally and personally.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think my strengths as a tutor is that I am very patient and understanding. Additionally, I have found that I am good at building a relationship where the students can be comfortable being wrong, and thus be in a good position to learn. I also have a strong educational background with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a master's degree in Neuroscience. I am also currently undertaking a master's degree in Data Science at UNSW due to my interest in programming and statistics!Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important thing may be to identify the individual needs of the student. During my work as an educational-psychological advisor, I used to write detailed reports outlining the student's strengths, learning style, and goals. When this was followed up, it made a very positive impact on the student's learning outcomes.
