What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The great physicist Richard Feynman once stated that teaching others is the best way to learn anything. Tutoring is an enjoyable, but at the same time an intellectually and mentally challenging task, requiring focus and attention, all of which are necessary for personal growth. And in the process, the ability to impart your knowledge to others becomes a rewarding experience.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Being a student myself, I understand the mindset a student has when trying to mentally grasp a concept and use it to solve problems. Not to mention, the sense of curiosity that I've developed over many years of studying has helped me to get through as well and if I'm able to spark the same sense of curiosity in others as a tutor, that's almost half the job done. In addition to it, the ability to hold a conversation during learning sessions rather than solely relying on lecturing is something I can use to better the understanding of students I tutor.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
As a tutor, the ability to get a student invested in the topic they are learning and keep it sustained by making the process an organized effort through active conversations and dialogue is vital in any classroom.
