What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is the reciprocal nature that I find quite enriching. The collaborative nature of tutoring fosters a dynamic exchange where both the tutor and student can explore different perspectives and approaches, leading to collective growth and development. It is a continuous learning journey for both the student and the tutor, which is one of the most fulfilling aspects of the tutoring experience.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths are mainly my ability to be really understanding and patient. I am easily able to understand students’ challenges they may encounter in their work, allowing me to tailor my assistance to their specific needs effectively. I am also very patient when it comes to tutoring, providing gentle guidance as my students navigate their learning journey, as well as constant reassurance during moments of frustration. Through this, I find that I can create a supportive and nurturing learning environment, in turn, boosting students’ confidence and motivation in their studies.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Personally I believe the most important thing a tutor can do for a student, is to push them to strive for their personal best, rather than merely aiming for generalised success. This mainly involves providing a framework of support for students to lean during times in need. By providing this support, tutors are also able to boost the confidence of students, help them believe in their abilities and tackle challenges with resilience, which is significant for their academic and personal growth.
