What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I haven't done any tutoring before but I believe that it will provide a sense of satisfaction when you see a student's grade increase. This is especially true with how I used to also struggle in IB and thus I understand how students may feel when they struggle amongst their peers

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I would like to consider myself as a very calm and understanding person, I can dedicate extra time to students if need be and I genuinely want to help them understand their content and improve their grades. This is also why I believe that with my nature and personality I would be suited with teaching students of a younger age I would also like to mention that I have done the IB so I may not understand and have not learnt the content in the Australia education system. However, if need be, I am open and willing to learn some new content that would be required of me when teaching students.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Understanding individual needs and recognizing each student's strengths and weaknesses, learning style and goals is essential so that tutors can modify their teaching methods and effectively engage and develop the student's comprehension of the content Furthermore, Tutors need to create a supportive environment where they enable the student to foster critical thinking skills rather than providing the answer to the student, instead allow the student to think independently whilst guiding them through reasoning and deductions to allow them to find the answer
