What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

- Helping kids understand concepts and do things they couldn't do before. - Seeing kids gain confidence in themselves and not having a fear of failure anymore. - Giving the kids the time, space and reassurance they need to ask questions and practise their skills.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

- I believe I am positive and can make children feel comfortable around me. - I can explain concepts succinctly and can break things down to make them easier to understand. - I listen to the student and if they aren't understanding something I can find another way to explain it that might work for them.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

- Encourage kids to love learning and have confidence in themselves. Building a child's confidence in academia is vital. - Help them build good and efficient study tactics so they can improve between tutoring sessions and eventually - Academic success is also important. Helping the student catch up to others in his class breaks the cycle of poor grades and anxiety - Ensure the student understands that they can succeed and that needing a tutor doesn't mean they are a failure. They're just here for support.
