What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I think every student is different and has their own unique struggles. Tutoring allows me to meet many different people and see many perspectives for the same problem. I find this incredibly enjoyable.
I also find great joy in seeing students progress and overcome their personal challenges.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think my personal experience as a student is one of my strengths with tutoring. At a young age I struggled with mathematics, however, by the time I started highschool it had easily become my strongest subject. This experience helps me be patient with students and understand that all people are capable of learning, they may just need their own unique method.
I also believe I am a good problem solver. This helps me determine weak points or gaps in knowledge that students may have so that I can help teach them better.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think it's important that the tutor is constantly supportive of the student and patient with them.
Different people have different learning styles and paces. A tutor needs to recognise these aspects of their students quickly to deliver content in a way that best suits them and maximises their learning.
I also believe that a strong bond between a tutor and a student can be important. This would make it much easier to teach as the tutor would seem more approachable to the student.
