What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I enjoy most about tutoring is being able to see the people that I am tutoring succeed in understanding and overcoming academic hurdles. The enjoyment of these "Eureka" moments in figuring out a solution to complex questions has always been the most satisfying part of tutoring and studying for me.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

My strengths as a tutor revolve around my adaptability to students. I like to break down complex theories and problems creatively into simpler and easy-to-understand concepts, such as using story narratives or physical demonstrations. I think it is important to focus on the student as well, making sure that I know where they are stuck and identifying problems is one of my core strengths. As an optimistic person I think I would bring more energy into tutoring as well, and to benefit the student in more ways than just academics.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

I think that the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to help them develop themselves both academically and personally. Tutoring is not only a job to help students with their specific problems but also developing study structures to effectively help the student long term, mindsets and strategies to allow the students to tackle questions more effectively, and also bring up their own confidence academically. These aspects all come down to identifying the gaps in the students and fixing it, β€œA wooden bucket can only hold as much water as its shortest plankÒ€
