What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I enjoy most about tutoring is helping someone learn something new. I enjoy learning new things and to help someone else learn something new, especially when they find it difficult, is just as rewarding. It was always great helping my younger siblings overcome a challenging topic in school that I also found challenging when I did it.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My greatest strength as a tutor is my patience. When I tutor my younger siblings they aren't always the best student. Students who find their learning difficult won't be as engaged or willing to sit down and put in the work. That's why the tutor must remain patient when dealing with less cooperative students and help them get through the topic.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to try make difficult content more engaging and easier to grapple with. As I mentioned before, students having difficulty with a topic will be less engaged and less willing to put in the work. That's why it's the tutor's responsibility to try make the content more appealing or reframe it in a way that connects with thins they already know. Not only will this make the tutoring session more enjoyable for the student and they will be happier to learn, but it also aids the learning process.
