What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love being able to help students learn concepts in a way which allows them to apply and remember it for future studies. I think its the highest compliment when students say 'You teach it better than my teacher!", and this is the moment when I feel like I have achieved success and it makes me feel proud.

I have seen the strengths and flaws, what works, and what doesn't when being taught by tutors at my university. I have experienced the difficulties as a modern student, which allows me to be patient and connect with them at a personal level to develop strategies. As a tutor, I would apply what I've experienced to ensure the success of the student.

Tutoring students to achieve success is arguably the most crucial part of the role, but I would also consider the strategies and methods I would implement that would push their motivation to work harder and passion for study. About Jason

Education

I graduated high school achieving raw scores of 41 in Math Methods, 43 in Chemistry, and 44 in Physics. I am now a final year undergraduate science student at the University of Melbourne, majoring in biomedical engineering.

Interests and career aspirations

In my free time, I love to play piano, watch football (soccer), and learn Japanese (especially through J-dramas!). I am pursuing a career in research and development within the tissue engineering field to work on biofabrication of 3D tissue scaffolds and the utilisation of biomaterials and stem cells for the growth, differentiation and maturation of functional tissues that serve to treat disease or injury.
