Lilly showed huge improvements in all of the questions on the topic test, being more confident, faster, and more accurate. Notably, Lilly's basic arithmatic skills have greatly improved, displaying much less signs of struggle with multiplication and division of more difficult numbers. There were also a few questions that she hadnt been able to answer at all last time but she managed to do this time, showing that the gaps in her knowledge have been filled.
Lilly still maintains problems in her biggest area for improvement, that being her ability to focus and get the work done. By constantly getting distracted and sidetracked between and during questions, Lilly's pace slows down greatly despite being able to complete the whole test in 30 minutes if she put her mind to it.

Once again, Lilly showed that in almost all areas, her skills have greatly improved since the start of the year, especially excelling in questions involving and relating to angles, quickly being able to identify and solve for missing angles.
One area that could see some improvement from Lilly is her memorisation of formulas as she is frequently forgetting or mixing up the formulas for areas of shapes. This was made especially notable in one question where she was asked to find the area of a parralelogram that she was not able to remember the formula for.
Lilly seemed to be able to stay more attentive than usual this lesson, likely due to the light-hearted nature of the lesson and the enjoyment of playing games.

In terms of improvement, it would be nice to see her apply that focus to regular mathematics.

Lilly was introduced to early Year 7 algebra concepts and demonstrated a good understanding of how variables can be used to represent unknown values. She was able to form and simplify basic algebraic expressions with guidance.
As the content was more advanced, she occasionally needed prompting to choose the correct steps. Continued exposure to Year 7-style problems will support her confidence and fluency.
