What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I just purely enjoy teaching other people and sharing my knowledge to others around me. Furthermore, it's so rewarding to see someone understand a new concept when I break down complex ideas into simple, understandable parts and see that understanding grow. It's satisfying to watch someone progress from struggling to feeling more assured about a subject. Additionally, because everyone learns differently, you must constantly adjust, which keeps things interesting.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strength as a tutor comes from my ability to see learning from the student's perspective. I don’t just explain concepts - I figure out how someone thinks and adjust my approach to match their way of processing information. Being a fast learner myself, I quickly grasp complex ideas and break them down into smaller, more manageable parts. Instead of repeating the same explanations, I reframe ideas in concepts that make sense to them, whether through analogies, real-world connections, or step-by-step logic.

This means breaking down complex ideas and encouraging critical thinking. But a lot of tutors get this wrong. Instead of helping students grasp the reasoning behind their answers, they just focus on giving the correct answers. Struggling doesn’t mean failure - it’s part of the process. A great tutor doesn’t just provide solutions, but equip them with a mindset and skills to tackle things independently.
