What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I enjoy most about tutoring is when a student finally understands something they've been struggling with and that lightbulb goes off. I enjoy cultivating difficult concepts into simpler ideas and tailor it to fit each student’s learning style. It’s not just about helping them get better grades, it's about helping them with their confidence. That sense is what keeps me passionate.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

As a recent high school graduate, I know how difficult some concepts can be to grasp. I have the strength to adjust and cultivate my teaching style based on each student’s needs. I’m also very perceptive, as in if a student doesn’t understand something, I try different methods until it clicks. Another strength is how I create comfortable conncetions with students so they can ask me questions and be confident about their education.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important things a tutor can do for their students are to support and encourage them. A tutor should help students grasp the material clearly, and just as essentially, boost their confidence as academic learners. They should create a safe and encouraging dynamic in which students feel comfortable asking questions. A tutor should also be able to adapt their teaching style to suit each student’s needs. Ultimately, the goal is not just to improve grades, it is also to help students with critical skills and have confidence about their education.
