What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy the one-on-one setting, mainly because it allows me to tailor my explanations to the way each student thinks, using examples or analogies that make sense to them. Watching someone build confidence, discover their own problem solving style, and then apply it independently is incredibly rewarding.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

As a tutor, my strengths are perseverance and commitment. I tend to persevere through challenges I face from others and thus can apply this directly to students I tutor. I'm also very committed, meaning that if I start something, I will finish it to the best of my ability. I will also apply this commitment to tutoring students, so they receive the best support possible.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe following up with students is the best way to create accountability and instil a routine in them. Also, tutors who put in effort after hours, such as staying back to help or creating personalised tasks to target their weak areas, are critical for students to excel in their studies. As a previously tutored student, I can guarantee that these things from a tutor would have greatly supported me then.

Testimonials 🏆

We’ve had a good experience so far. One of our sons got the top 2 results in his selective class, and the other was just a point behind.
