What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy making connections with students and giving them the support they may need, whether it is to excel or to simply to succeed. I think tutoring is a learning and teaching experience for both the tutor and the student as we learn from one another.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I'm quite patient and easy-going as a person, so I'm able to provide a calm environment for students to work. I'm also adaptive, and ready to adhere to each student's learning styles. Outside of the classroom, I'm quite punctual with my time, always arriving early to set up and give students a good lesson.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think first and foremost is the support. This support comes in giving students help or advice when they ask for it, listening to what they have to say and especially in helping them achieve their goals. But this support also comes in the form of a tutor recognising when something isn't working, or when a student should try to do something on their own first, and respecting both the students' boundaries while maintaining their own for the health and safety of both parties.
