I have great empathy, as I am myself, someone who struggled with my studies. It was through the help of a supportive and resourceful environment I was surrounded with that I was able to get through my high school exams. So I definitely relate a lot to students who are struggling themselves. I still struggle in my study even now. I think being able to show that side of vulnerability, as I work through the problems with the students, will help build confidence, and genuine connection, rather than a one-sided relationship where I tell the student what to do.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the most important thing is to help the students build confidence to face the problems themselves. Tutors, like myself, are there as a safety net students can fall back to, but learning is an ongoing process I believe every students should find their own motivation in.
