What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is seeing the moment when a student finally gets it. I find it really rewarding to watch someone go from being confused or frustrated to feeling confident and proud of their progress. I also enjoy the one-on-one connection, being able to explain to suit how each student learns best. It keeps me engaged, sharpens my own understanding, and reminds me why I enjoy maths and physics in the first place.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
One of my biggest strengths as a tutor is my ability to explain complex ideas in a simple, clear way. Because I'm studying mechanical engineering, I had to learn how to break down difficult math and physics concepts, and I use that same approach when helping students. I'm also very patient and encouraging. I make sure students feel comfortable asking questions and never feel judged. Lastly, I adapt well to different learning styles, whether a student needs visual explanations, step-by-step problem-solving, or real-world examples.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Confidence. A great tutor doesn't just teach the subject, they help the student believe they can master it. That shift in mindset is what drives real progress.
