What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I’ve had different kinds of tutors in my life, each with their own teaching style. Some made me cram just to pass exams, but a few stood out. They taught with so much patience and passion that learning became fun. I actually looked forward to their classes. That’s the kind of tutor I try to be. The best part of teaching for me is seeing that moment when a new concept ‘clicks’ for a student. Their brains rewire, and suddenly, they start noticing it in the world around them. That spark of understanding; that’s what makes tutoring so rewarding for me.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I would say my strengths are adaptability and making complex ideas simple. I focus on building confidence, not just memorization. By connecting the concepts to real life, I try to keep my students engaged. I also listen carefully to tailor my approach to each learner’s needs.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Personally, the most important thing a tutor could do is build a connection with their students. I might be difficult but once it is achieved, the lectures would not be seen as a task by the students. Breaking down tough concepts, encouraging curiosity, and providing a supportive space help students grow and instill a thirst for lifelong learning.
