What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy tutoring very much because even as a student I liked taking really detailed and structured notes using different resources to help me understand things better. And when I started tutoring and sharing these strategies with my students to see what worked for them and what I could differently felt really wholesome. Tutoring has also helped me reflect upon those methods and make a few changes to tailor them to different needs of my students.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Having finished high school just about two years ago, the methods I developed for myself have really helped me in tutoring, and I am confident that they will do so in the future. With over an year of experience, I can comfortably say that I create a approachable and warm atmosphere with my students so they feel welcome to ask for help. I also consider myself to be a good communicator as I regularly check on my students to make sure they are progressing and adjusting my approach if needed.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe that the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is make them feel welcome and build their confidence by acknowledging their progress no matter how small it is. It is also crucial for a tutor to recognize that everyone learns differently and adapt their teaching styles accordingly.
