What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I enjoy two things equally. First, there's the incredible moment of 'the click'βwhen a student's face lights up because a complex concept suddenly makes sense. That moment of clarity and confidence is incredibly rewarding. Second, I enjoy the creative challenge of tailoring my explanation to each student's unique way of thinking. There's no one-size-fits-all in learning, and I find it fulfilling to discover the best way to connect with each individual and make mathematics feel accessible and even enjoyable for them.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
My strong performance in my engineering Diploma at UTS and Edexcel IAL Maths, where I scored highly, along with being a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering student at UTS, has given me a very deep understanding of fundamental concepts. This allows me to break down advanced problems into logical, easy-to-follow steps, which is essential for building student confidence.
Most important things I can do for a student π
Build Confidence: Often, a student's struggle with math is more about a fear of failure than an inability to learn. The first job of a tutor is to create a positive, stress-free environment and show the student that they are capable. This shift in mindset is the foundation for all progress.
