What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most is to work with the student to help them understand the material, or give them the tools to work figure out solutions on their own. It is rewarding to support their learning, but also to get to know each individual, since everyone learns differently.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
One of my main strengths is that I am pedagogical in my approach. I’m good at structuring lessons and meeting students at their level. I’m also clear in my explanations and can break down complex ideas in a simple way. And I’m very patient, which helps create a safe space for students to learn at their own pace. I always make sure to give students the space they need to ask questions, make mistakes, and build confidence without feeling rushed or judged.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe one important thing a tutor can do for a student is to teach them tools and strategies on problem-solving and help them develop independent learning skills. Another very important thing is to help the student build confidence in their ability to learn. Encouragement, support, and consistent feedback is important. It’s also essential to create a safe space where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, because that’s where lots of learning happens.
