What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

My favorite thing about tutoring is having the opportunity to teach students in a way that not just teaches them the academic side but also makes them confident and curious to learn even more. I had the opportunity to teach and guide younger students earlier, and it was most satisfying when I saw them grow from being nervous to confident about their expertise. I find joy in simplifying complex ideas into clear, relatable explanations. Tutoring allows me to create a supportive space where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe my biggest strength as a tutor lies in my calm, patient, and approachable nature, which helps students feel at ease and open to learning. My past teaching practice equipped me with experience in teaching material to different learner styles, so that all students feel understood and heard. I also possess good communication and problem-solving skills from my experience of working online and can comfortably adapt to computer platforms, making learning both interactive and effective.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe that the most important thing a tutor can do is to enable students with confidence and competence to learn on their own. While defining content is important, the more value lies in challenging students to think, solve problems, and deal with challenges with resilience. It is the responsibility of a tutor to be able to instill curiosity, showing students that learning can be enjoyable and worthwhile. Equally necessary is establishing a safe and supportive setting in which students feel comfortable to admit misunderstanding and to ask questions without fear of criticism.
