What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I was tutored a lot in high school, and it made a huge difference in how I learned; it helped me build discipline, good study habits, and confidence. Tutoring now gives me the chance to pass that on to others, and I find it really rewarding to help students experience the same growth and satisfaction I did.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a medical student at Monash University, I often take part in student-led teaching sessions where we explain complex topics to each other. It’s helped me get really good at breaking down challenging material, communicating clearly, and creating a supportive learning space. I enjoy helping others understand difficult concepts, and I think that’s one of my biggest strengths as a tutor.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the most important thing a tutor can do is empower students to see the bigger picture and think critically, rather than rely on rote learning or exam-focused preparation. Tutoring should foster curiosity, collaboration, and deeper understanding. I aim to create this environment through patient guidance, genuine engagement, and careful preparation - I will always give my best and prepare thoroughly for every session to ensure each student gains real value.
