What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy seeing students develop confidence in areas they once found challenging. It's rewarding to see a students' hard work and dedication pay off, especially knowing I've helped them to reach that level of confidence. I truly got to experience this when I was a Peer Support Leader in Year 12 to Year 9 students where I saw my group flourish and become more communicative and adjusted to high school life.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My biggest strengths as a tutor are empathy, patience, and clear communication. Being a student myself, I understand how frustrating concepts can be when they don't click right away, so I try to make students' comfortable with making mistakes and asking questions. I'm patient which aligns with my empathy as I understand that learning things can be tough and take time to explain. I always focus on communicating clearly so that learning new concepts feels achievable.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is be present, understanding and supportive. A tutor should be someone a student can rely on for academic help as well as encouragement and motivation. By providing the resources, teaching, and guidance, a tutor should be able to empower their student and help them to feel confident in their studies.
