What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy helping out other individuals and seeing them grow. As a young child, I struggled with maths and needed to get tutoring myself, so I know what it feels like to be stuck or frustrated, but, I also know how good it feels for things to finally 'click'. I love watching that moment in people I have helped so far.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I have experience in teaching young children on a service trip through my school in maths and english (5-10 years old). I achieved an ATAR in the 90's. I often held study groups before exams where I would teach peers and was able to break things down into different ways that work for different people.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Understand what works for them and how they learn, then adapt the work to be specific to them. Keep the work engaging and ask the student what they want to learn or what their goals are.
