What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is seeing younger students grow in confidence as they start to understand something new. I really love being part of that moment when a concept clicks for them. Through my experience working with Year 3 students with learning disabilities, ive found it so rewarding to help them feel supported and proud of their progress. I especially enjoy working with younger students because I can help build their learning foundations early and make learning fun and positive from the start.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My biggest strengths as a tutor are my patience, empathy, and ability to adjust my approach to suit each students learning style. Working closely with Year 3 students who have learning disabilities has helped me become more creative in how I explain things and more understanding of individual needs. im also very positive and encouraging and I like to celebrate small wins, because they help students feel motivated and capable.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important things a tutor can do are to create a safe, supportive environment and to make learning feel achievable and enjoyable. For younger students especially, its important to build their confidence and help them develop good learning habits early on. A tutor should listen, be patient, and find ways to connect lessons to each students interests and strengths so they feel valued and capable.
