What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
The thing I enjoy most about tutoring is watching the progress of students over time especially the moment when a concept clicks and the student becomes confident in their own ability. I find it rewarding to know that I've been able to make a subject manageable for a student. One of my biggest strengths as a tutor is to be able to effectively explain concept or abstract topic in an engaging manner. Further, I believe that I can identify the way each student learns (visual, auditory etc..) and tailor my lessons accordingly. I think that the most important thing a tutor can do is to not just provide their students with an answer but to guide the student through the process. As the saying goes "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime" helping a student understand the thought process helps them consolidate their knowledge for the long-term.
