Caoimhe is a qualified primary teacher with extensive classroom and learning support experience across a wide range of ages. She has spent significant time teaching maths and literacy in both whole-class and small-group settings, including targeted support for students who needed extra help to catch up. This tutor is confident planning step-by-step lessons that build skills gradually, and she uses clear explanations and lots of practice so students feel successful rather than overwhelmed.
This tutor brings valuable experience working with children with autism, ADHD, behavioural challenges and visual impairment. She has taught one-to-one using Braille and adapted materials, and has supported students with complex behaviours in mainstream classes. Parents can be reassured that Caoimhe understands how to adjust pace, instructions and activities so every child can participate and learn. Her strong classroom management and calm, consistent approach help students feel safe, focused and ready to learn.
Beyond the classroom, Caoimhe has coached a school basketball team and led choreography for a school production, and has also served as president of a college dance team and a summer camp group leader. She brings this creativity and energy into tutoring by using movement, games and rhythm to make concepts stick, especially in maths and English. She prioritises building warm, respectful relationships so students feel comfortable asking questions, trying new strategies and enjoying their learning.
