What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
The thing I enjoy most about tutoring is seeing students gain confidence in their ability as they start to understand concepts they couldn't before. Watching their progress, whether it be their grades or mastering a concept, is incredibly rewarding to see as a tutor. I also enjoy building a positive, supportive relationship that helps them enjoy the subject more.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
My strengths include clear, patient explanations and the ability to break difficult concepts into simple, manageable steps. Additionally, I adapt my teaching style based on a student's learning style by listening closely to what they are confused about. I'm also organized and reliable, reviewing the material before class to ensure I am ready as a tutor, and always in class on time. I make sure students feel supported and motivated throughout the lesson.
Most important things I can do for a student π
I believe that a tutor should help students feel confident, supported, and comfortable. It's crucial to explain concepts in a way that makes sense to their learning method, encourage them to think independently and construct an environment where they aren't afraid to make mistakes.

About Saksham
About Me
My name is Saksham Puri, and I am 20 years old. Like you, I am a student, so I understand how frustrating it can feel to struggle with subjects or feel behind in class. I teach because I love seeing students gain confidence, truly understand the material, and actually enjoy learning. I focus on simplifying complex topics into manageable parts and guiding students step by step, making lessons structured, clear, and engaging.
How I Teach
Hi! I like to structure my lessons the way I would like to learn myself: by breaking down every topic into its core building blocks and building up from there. This approach makes learning easier, more structured, and enjoyable. Lessons typically range from 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the topic and the studentβs needs. As a current Bachelor of Computer Science student, I can teach high school subjects including physics, mathematics, algebra, and trigonometry, as well as lower levels and introductory computer science courses. My lessons are suitable for students of all ages who want to understand concepts deeply and build confidence in their skills.
