What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

My favourite part about tutoring is the rewarding feeling when I can bring someone from a place of confusion to full confidence in a topic. I believe bringing someone to a higher intellectual position than what they began with not only strengthens their understanding, but builds up self belief and motivation. Seeing growth like this firsthand is what makes tutoring so fulfilling for me.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

- Clear Communication I believe I am great at explaining concepts in ways that are tailored and clear to the particular student - Ability to build confidence I believe that my teaching style is more positive and gentle, which works to build student confidence and doesn't break them down. - Patience and Empathy I know how frustrating and difficult the marathon of education can be. I understand that all students learn differently, and I create a supportive and non judgemental environment. - Adaptability I can easily adjust my explantations through various difference teaching methods.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the three pillars of tutoring are understanding, confidence and independence. A tutor needs to be able to create a comfortable environment where students feel open to ask questions. Breaking down concepts clearly in a tailored way based on the way each student learns ensures they really understand the concepts, and are not just memorising. Finally, and just as importantly, a tutor must build the students confidence in their own abilities so they can approach their challenges individually. As I mentioned in the previous box, I believe I represent these values.
