What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I enjoy the most about tutoring is opportunity to see students truly learn and understand new concepts better. I think that this feeling is really fulfilling and gives me motivation as a tutor. I also enjoy seeing students build their confidence with their learning and be more comfortable to asking questions. I believe that this is where the best learning occurs and I love seeing students being confident.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

As a tutor I believe my main strengths are being able to adapt and cater to each student's needs. Everyone learns differently and I believe it is important to negotiate learning methods and study plans to ensure that they are getting the best support. My organisation skills are really crucial in attaining this and I think taking this methodically is really important in learning complex theories. I believe I can create a comfortable, non-judgemental environment as well, so students feel confident asking questions.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

One of the most valuable lessons I learned is that a student’s ability to grasp concepts is highly dependent on their learning environment and their comfort level in the classroom. When students feel safe to ask questions and are not afraid of making mistakes, their understanding and confidence grow significantly. As a tutor, I strongly believe in creating a supportive, welcoming, and judgement-free environment where students feel comfortable engaging with content, asking questions, and learning at their own pace.
