I graduated from St Ursula's College in 2025 and will commence university in early 2026, studying for a bachelor's degree in forensic science. I have completed both advanced and extension 1 mathematics, along with advanced English in my senior year of high school. I'm a friendly, approachable person and wish for students to grow & come to admire learning, hoping they'll succeed with my position as their tutor. As someone who had received tutoring all throughout my schooling years, I understand the types of struggles students might have and the fear that they can't reach their potential. I want to provide both valuable and informative lessons that are tailored to every student's needs. No matter how difficult or prolonged a topic may be, I will always support the student to achieve their very best.
I was previously a tutor at Kumon for 21 months, teaching mostly kindergarten to year 3 spelling, reading, writing and counting, along with simple addition and subtraction. I really enjoyed being with the children, watching them become excited when they've learnt more than the previous week. These students have very curious minds and constantly asked questions, and it astounded me how brilliant these children were. Once more, I hope to bring a comforting and enriching teaching experience for future students. It brings me immense joy to see a student grow and understand what they had struggled with before and grow confidence in their own studies.
I am available during the whole of Tuesday, Wednesday and the weekends to tutor. After 5 pm, I am also available on Thursday and Friday. Both online and in-person lessons are provided. Clients can contact me at any time or day through SMS, calls and emails with any questions the student/parents may have. If students need feedback, assignments marked or advice, they are welcome to contact me during the week at anytime.
