Iโve always adored being able to help someone understand a question that they were stuck on. It is simply that face of joy when they finally solve it that brings me so much satisfaction and happiness knowing that I could help them get there. I am extremely patient. I build myself around the idea that it is never the studentsโ fault if they donโt understand, but rather the teacher should problem solve and introduce another way to teach them to help them learn. Each and every student is different, so a tutor needs to be adaptive, which is something that Iโve had practice with at university as well as placement.Most important things I can do for a student ๐
At the minimum, a tutor should be able to work together with a student in a way that is the most effective for them. Additionally, they should be able to support them through a subject but also, expand them on what they already know to allow for their interests and knowledge to thrive.
