What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy that tutoring involves an application of skills that I have strongly developed, and enjoy using. Thus, I feel I am more at comfort in instructing and assisting students during tutoring.
Moreover, I passionately believe in education as a source of opportunity and empowerment for your people, and that an access to quality education and educational support is necessary for the betterment of society. Hence, I feel that through tutoring I am able to apply my skills to make a difference in society.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My academic background forms a strong foundation for tutoring. I achieved an ATAR of 99.40 as well as GPA of 7.0 / 7.0 in the University of Adelaide Headstart Scholarship Program. This foundation enables me to support students with effective study approaches and problem-solving strategies essential for academic success.
I bring well-developed communication skills suited to working with children and students developed through my role at Wacky Warehouse Play Café and primary school volunteering experience. Thus, I am comfortable communicating professionally with both children and adults.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe that a tutor should foster a student's confidence in their capability to learn, and should inspire students to feel motivated and excited to learn. This is the most important thing a tutor can provide for a student as it fosters a love of learning, which develops one's intellectual agency, assisting and empowering them to navigate one's future.
