What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love that "lightbulb moment" when a concept that felt impossible suddenly clicks for a student. Since I’ve spent my life immersed in the logic of math, I’ve realized that most "math anxiety" just comes from a few missing pieces of the puzzle. Being the person who finds those gaps and helps a student bridge them is incredibly rewarding. Beyond the grades, I just enjoy the human connection. Whether I’m simplifying Calculus or making primary numeracy fun, seeing a student’s confidence grow as they realize they can tackle hard problems is the best part of the job.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My biggest strength is the ability to bridge the gap between high-level mastery and simple, clear communication. Because I’ve maintained a 100% academic record in Math, I don’t just know the formulas—I deeply understand the "why" behind them. This helps me break down intimidating topics like Calculus into logical steps that actually make sense. I’m also very adaptable. I can easily switch gears from helping a primary student with basic fractions to guiding a university student through complex engineering math. My background in Cyber Security has made me incredibly patient and detail-oriented;

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think the most important thing a tutor can do is build a student’s confidence. A lot of the time, a student isn't actually "bad at math"—they’ve just had a few bad experiences that made them feel stuck. I try to create a space where it’s okay to make mistakes, which helps turn that frustration into genuine curiosity. Beyond that, it’s about teaching independence. I don't want to be a crutch that just helps them tick off homework boxes; I want to show them the "logic" behind the numbers so they eventually don't need me anymore.
